It was so difficult to choose a winner, I had to think about it all weekend.

Even then I couldn’t decide. All of your thoughts, loves and excitement about winter, I share as well, and they are all very personal to you, so how can I judge that?!

So I decided to write all your names on pieces of paper and put them in a container and asked Jessica-Leigh to pick one out.

“My favourite things about winter is the way breath fogs out in front of your face, the crisp cold in November, the many shades of browns and reds in the leaves as they sail through the air before finally resting on the grass, sidewalk or gently on a puddle. I love the snow and the magical feeling when it first starts to fall, I love the eerie calm and quiet that seems to settle as winter descends. Most of all, I love the scents of winter, the smell of shrubbery as it gives it’s last breath of life before Spring comes again, the haze of the sun in the sky and the nice snug feeling you get when donning a scarf before going out and the way it caresses your neck.”

M.A.C. Red Lipstick Giveaway!

I’ve neglected Tumblr. I’ve been so busy with photo shoot projects etc that I haven’t had time to share with you things that I love.

Last week I really thought we were heading into Autumn (did we ever really have a summer?) but then the sun crept up on us again for one last go - in the UK that is.

When it gets to this time of year, I start to use my favourite lippy - M.A.C Red. It’s a classic. I hate it when I use a fashion lipstick and it runs out, but as it was available for a limited time, I can’t get it again.

Not with this one. It’s a keeper.

This lipstick makes me think of Christmas, dark evenings, cuddly jumpers, heavy metal gigs and open fires.

And I’ve decided to give one away.
